Ten Months Old

Noah turned ten months old on the 8th. We are quickly closing in on one year. It's gone by so fast I can hardly believe it. Noah is crawling like a pro, which means chasing him around the house to keep him away from things. He will also pull himself up to standing on pretty much anything, including his Daddy's leg hair. I think his favorite is to pull up on the TV stand and bang on the TV screen. He has mastered walking with his push walker, although steering is still an issue, and seems to be very close to walking on his own. He will sometimes let go of whatever he pulled himself up on and just stand there for a few seconds on his own.

One of our challenges with Noah has been food. The doctor told us at six months that we could start giving him the little puffs or yogurt drops to eat. He only gagged on them. Only now, four months later, has he figured out how to chew these things and swallow them without choking.  He still doesn't like anything with a lot of texture, so that's the next thing we'll be working on.

He is a very happy little boy who has a lot of energy and a lot to say. And he has no volume control, so he says it very loudly. He 'talks' a lot, and I really wish I knew what he was saying. We have taken him to the pool a few times now and he seems to really enjoy it. Well, what I think he enjoys the most is the little toy crab that I bought him. He loves to chew on it. He also seems to really like music. He gets the biggest grin on his face and flaps his arms around when one of his toys plays music or he hears a song on TV. It's so amazing to sit and just watch him play and figure things out. He is such a great baby and we are so blessed to get to see him growing and changing every day.
